Clams
After trying the clam shovel and the cheap carbon steel clam gun we found a better option. All clam guns are not created equal. After hearing about the Clam Hawg we saw one being used at Westport. With permission of the owner we tried pulling one plug of sand with Clam Hawg. The Clam Hawg has a vent port along the side of the gun that breaks the vacuum at the bottom of the clam gun. This makes retrieval MUCH easier. After seeing the Youtube videos and trying the Clam Hawk we purchased one. Dennis Company in Montesano has them. Here is the map to the location.
