Our son and his college roommate had success in Port Townsend, they were at the public pier. The public pier is part of Port Townsends' Pope Marine Park. The crab size requirements are the bigger size, check the regulations and the season is different. Unlike the year round season at Westport WDFW limits the season in Port Townsend, another good reason to check with regulations. Just click on the image for directions to the pier.

The WDFW consider Port Townsend as "Marine Area 9". Just click on the image to be taken to the WDFW website and the description of the Marine Area and rules. Males only 6.25" and catch record required, any gear - but verify.
