Alki Beach in West Seattle is one of our go to beach walks. Its only about 20 minutes from the house and is one of our favorite beaches. For the sea glass fans, the beach still produces lots of sea glass, which for some is fun to collect. One really low tide event produced Moon Snail shows that were really amazing. The view of the Seattle skyline is awesome. Common to see the normal ferries traveling in the bay to their destinations. Along the road near the far west side of the beach there is a number of mom and pop food stops featuring fish n chips and clam chowder. On a clear day you can see the Olympics and the Cascades. Time it right and maybe a Navy Ship pulling into or out of Bremerton.
