The abundance of seafood in the pacific northwest is amazing. This site was created with the novice in mind. After my first exposure to razor clams, in 2014 or so, I wanted to share the experiance with everyone I could. Bringing as much infomation to one site as possible to make it easy for the novice and the experienced. After gaining wisdom from a master clam whisperer I too was able to score a limit usually. Then, just recently, the clam whisperer and I ventured off on a whole new adventure. Where razor clams are a seasonal harvest there is another one that is year round in some places. Dungeness Crab proved to be a whole new experience. A couple of crab rings and a pile of chicken legs produced a wonderful bounty. I was warned the reason razor clams were named such for how sharp the shells were. Never did get sliced though. Crab pinchers, well that's another story. Even the seasoned crabbers seem to do that finger dance at the end of the pier occasionally. Either way both are delicious.
Batson Enterprises a little nod to a fishing pole I recently discovered and like.
